  • a summative assessment consisting of 10 multiple-choice questions
  • two surveys required to claim continuing education credit

Description

Technical and design concepts in our profession are often quantifiable and discreet. While as design professionals we find ourselves comfortable in this context, wrapping our heads around the ethical problems and dilemmas we face in our profession can be daunting. This session is focused on helping you find the ethical path. The presentation will discuss the principles that apply to professional practice and will provide an overview of design professional ethics and IIBEC’s Code of Ethics. Through engaging in discussion of case studies, attendees will examine tools and techniques for solving ethical problems and making decisions based on the highest ethical standards.
